Your return journey

5 steps. 5 minutes total.

01

Unbox your order.

Take out your product, keep the invoice/thank-you card if you want. The package itself is reusable — don't throw it away!

◆ Look for: "Don't throw me away!" message on top
02

Fold flat in seconds.

Every Packio package folds completely flat. Press the side flaps inward, then collapse the top. Takes ~20 seconds. No tools needed.

◆ Watch: 20-second video tutorial (link in email)
03

Scan the QR code.

Every package carries a QR code. When the return network is live, scanning it will open a dedicated Packio app (in development for 2027 launch) that shows your nearest drop-off points and lets you log the return.

◆ Unlock: Promo codes from partner brands after return
04

Drop it off.

Select the most convenient drop-off from the points shown — post offices, partner stores, courier points, lockers. Pop the folded package in, scan, done. Free of charge.

◆ Bonus: Next-delivery pickup available for regular users
05

The loop continues.

After return, each unit is verified at our facility, cleaned if needed, and reintroduced into circulation. You get a thank-you email with your CO₂ savings. The brand behind it gets the unit back in inventory.

◆ Track: Your lifetime impact in your Packio account
— FOR OPERATIONS TEAMS

The closed-loop version.

For intralogistics operations (DC↔store, inter-warehouse, 3PL) the loop is tighter, controlled end-to-end by your team, and hits 98% return rates. Here's how a Packio unit moves through your operation.

Where all your questions find clear answers

Frequently asked.

The consumer experience described below is being built for a 2027 launch. If you've received a Packio package today, it's part of a private beta with a merchant partner — the flows and answers here reflect the design intent for public release.

Can individuals buy Packio's reusable packaging?+
Packio is designed as a service between brands, retailers and their customers — not as a retail product. If you're a brand or e-shop that wants to offer reusable packaging at checkout, we work directly with you. Consumer-side use (receiving a Packio, returning it, earning a reward) will be available in 2027 through participating brands.
Does returning my Packio package create additional CO₂ emissions?+
Reverse logistics does have a CO₂ footprint — that's why our design integrates returns into existing courier and postal networks rather than dedicated pickup runs. Every reuse cycle offsets a single-use cardboard box, and our full lifecycle analysis (ISO 14040/44 methodology, third-party review planned for 2026) accounts for the reverse-logistics leg. Net-net, from the third cycle onwards the reusable unit is measurably lower-carbon than cardboard for the same route.
